Enabling/Disabling the Product Viewing History

Note: This feature is available only to administrators.

The Product Viewing History is an informational tool that records and displays each time a product is viewed in your system. However, it must be enabled; while it is enabled, product views are recorded and users can see them by viewing the Product Viewing History.

When the Product Viewing History is disabled, product views are not recorded and the Product Viewing History cannot be viewed.

To enable/disable the Product Viewing History:

Starting at the Administration page (How do I get there?), do the following:

  1. Under System Preferences, click View History.

    The Product Viewing History display shows the History's current status in the Enable Product Viewing History check box:

  2. Change this status as desired:
